About Faith Kujala

I am a professional artist based in Beaumont, Alberta that specializes in abstract-realism.

I live in a small town home to which I work out of an abundantly creative, beautiful, wooden doored studio, lit by sunlight and fairy lights.

Through the art of painting, my ultimate goal is to create a body of work that gently encourages self-trust, celebrates growth, and offers a soft space for you to feel seen, comforted, and empowered—just as you are.

The Inspiration

What inspires my work is the quiet, often-overlooked beauty of becoming. The small, brave moments where we choose softness instead of urgency, where we honour our healing, our stillness, our messiness—and still call it growth. I’m moved by the seasons of the soul, the in-between spaces, and the quiet courage it takes to show up for yourself, again and again. My art is shaped by these tender truths—by emotion, colour, and the hope that even in our most vulnerable states, we are worthy of love, beauty, and belonging.

Each piece I create is an invitation—to pause, to feel, and to reconnect with yourself. Whether it’s a soft brushstroke or a bold figure, my work is meant to hold space for your story, your becoming, and all the gentle power that lives within you.

I was an odd kid who loved all things colourful and patterned. So much so, that my clothes were never styled and my socks never matched. I was drawn to creativity as a means of expressing the vibrancy in the world I couldn’t put into words - The beauty I saw, but could never quite describe.

I was inspired by the two most artistic individuals in my family - my Grampa and Uncle. They taught me the beauty in the world around us, and the value of visually expressing how light would dance and water would sing.

After their loss, I wasn’t just a small girl painting for creative expression, but a woman painting for deeper connection. Now as an adult, painting the intrinsic beauty in each of us through portraiture and animalier, I honour their memory and found my purpose spreading awareness of growth and the beauty of becoming.
